  1. Can you buy turkeys now? If so what is the cost for a fresh 18-20 lb. turkey? I live in the Dover area and can pick it up if available.

    1. We only sell fresh whole turkeys during Thanksgiving and Christmas season, but you can find other all-natural turkey products on our shelves throughout the year. Call the store for more details at 302-234-6779. Thanks for your interest!

    2. Yes, we welcome fresh turkey orders until the end of the day on November 20. You can order yours in the store at Customer Service or call us at 302-234-6779. Thank you for your interest!

    1. Great! To order your turkey, please call the store at 302-234-6779 or stop by Customer Service before November 21. Turkeys are available in three pound ranges, beginning with 12-15 lbs. Thank you!

  2. My family will no longer eat meat that has not been raised and sacrificed as humanely as possible. I know an odd post but, while we want to eat meat we no longer want to promote through our purchases the cruelty that has been going on at corporate farms. Thank you. Kathy

    1. Hi Kathy,

Thanks for your comment. We completely agree! We do everything we can to support local and humanely raised livestock producers, and aim to provide alternatives to factory farmed meat. Please call the store at 302-234-6779 if you’re interested in ordering one of our local, farm-fresh and pastured turkeys from T.A. Farms, located in Wyoming, DE. Keep up the scrutiny in what you feed your family and where it comes from! Thanks.

    1. Hey Craig! Thanks for asking about our T.A. Farms turkey products. We do offer turkey breasts during the Thanksgiving Holiday! They come in a 4-7 pound range and cost $6.49 per pound. Please call our store at 302-234-6779 by Friday, November 20 to place your order. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  3. I was wondering if you sell raw turkey necks. I give them to my dog, but availability in the local supermarkets is spotty at best.

    1. Hi Douglas,
Thanks for contacting us. We sell raw chicken necks, but don’t often stock raw turkey necks. You would have to special order those by calling the store at 302-234-6779 and speaking with our Meat Buyer, Alexander. Thank you and we hope to hear from you soon!
      In health,
      Harvest Market

  4. Are the turkeys completely free range? No grains? I want to make sure the turkey does not eat anything that contains GMOs or any pesticide/herbicide residues. Thank you!

    1. Hello Andy,
Thank you for your questions! The turkeys we sell from T.A. Farms are free range, however they are fed conventional grains which are grown by the farmers themselves. The turkeys are not certified organic, so we cannot say that they are not consuming GMO’s or pesticide/herbicide residues. Please call our store at 302-234-6779 if you have any more questions or if you would like to place an order. Thank you!

  5. Do you sell boneless Turkey breast all year round? If so I live in Dover where are you located so I can stop by, and what are your hours of business

    1. Hi Deedra – Harvest Market sells T.A. Farms’ turkey products throughout the year, however we think you’re looking to get in touch with their farm directly, since you live in Dover and that’s much closer to their location in Camden-Wyoming than we are (we are located in Hockessin). Please contact our store at 302-234-6779 if you have any further questions about how we can be of assistance. Thank you!

    1. Hi Clyde – Harvest Market does not stock fresh turkey livers. We carry frozen chicken liver and beef liver, when they are available from our farmers. Please contact T.A. Farms directly if you’d like to ask about their options on their farm in southern Delaware. Thanks!

  6. I have enjoyed your chopped turkey meat, so thanks, but I wish they were organic. Many pesticides and especially Monsanto Roundup are in the news every day and the companies are admitting they raise the chances for cancer and other serious diseases. Will you consider an organic line, please. I would like to support local family businesses.

    1. Thank you for your input. We are aware of the pesticides and herbicides used in the production of non-organic grains fed to non-organic livestock. We will always give preference to organically grown foods in every category. Unfortunately, organically raised turkey products are as rare as turkey teeth. We are not aware of any farms comparable to T.A. or Kochs which sell ground, parts, burgers or sausage year-round. Organic whole turkeys are available for Thanksgiving, however. Until organic options are available we will continue to support local and regional farms as a better choice than agribusiness giants like Tyson Foods, for example.
