Event Description

When fishing guide/filmmaker Mark Titus learns why wild salmon populations plummeted in his native Pacific Northwest, he embarks on a journey to discover where the fish have gone and what might bring them back. Along the way, Titus unravels a trail of human hubris, historical amnesia and potential tragedy looming in Alaska – all conspiring to end the most sustainable wild food left on the planet.

-The Breach

Be our guest for the Delaware premiere of “The Breach” by fishing guide/filmmaker Mark Titus.

Chef Josh from Wild for Salmon will be on hand at the Ashland Nature Center to sample smoked wild salmon appetizers and talk about the importance of wild salmon and the urgent need to save their threatened habitat in Bristol Bay, Alaska. Mingle and enjoy some Baba’s Brew kombucha and other edibles before opening marks at 6pm.

Thanks to our hosts, the Delaware Nature Society and Ashland Nature Center, for their work on our local Clean Water Campaign and for allowing us to bring this movie to our community. We also greatly appreciate the hard work and dedication of our fishermen friends at Wild for Salmon.
